Tunde Adeniji is a Nigerian professional football player who plays for Sunshine Stars F.C.. He was drafted from one of the Ondo State Football Agency youth team known as Rising Stars F.C. to Sunshine Stars F.C.. ==Career== Babatunde Temitope Adeniji was born on the 17th Sept; 1995 in Okitipupa, Okitipupa Local Government Area of Ondo State. For Adeniji, it's been a roller coaster ride. Tunde was scouted by officials of the Ondo State Football Agency while playing on the dusty fields of Okitipupa, he was promptly signed to the Agency's developmental side, Rising Stars Academy where he played for two seasons and helped the team acquire promotion at the premier league as he emerged the top scorer of the team. He featured in 16 games and scored 7 goals. His exceptional performance led to his promotion to Sunshine Stars at the start of the 2013/2014 season. Tunde Adeniji was expected to understudy the Club's main striker, Dele Olorundare in his debut season in the top flight but he exceeded all expectations and scored thirteen (13) league goals to emerge the Club's top scorer. The just concluded 2014/2015 Season was even better for the young striker as he became a better all round player scoring and creating chances for his team mates. Though he missed out on the golden boot award by just a goal, he ended the season with sixteen (16) goals and 7 assists with just one of his goals coming from the penalty spot. Adeniji's terrific form didn't go unnoticed as he was called by Coach Sunday Oliseh to the Super Eagles and he has two Caps under his belt already. Despite his scoring prowess, Adeniji is still a diamond in the rough that needs refining. It's frightening to think about what he can do when he reaches his full potentials as he continues his journey to stardom. It remains to be seen what the future holds for the young striker from Ondo State. No doubt, Adeniji is the real goal king that never wore a crown.
